How To Avoid Or Beat A Speeding Ticket

How To Avoid Or Beat A Speeding Ticket

If you can Avoid”>http://www.diverttickets.com/””>Avoid A Speeding Ticket it will be a lot more beneficial than you might think. There’s a lot of background things that happen that you may or may not be aware of that I‘m going to tell you about. The things that you do know are obviously that you’ll get a speeding ticket worth anywhere form $60 to $250 depending on how fast you were going. What you might not know is that you will get 2-3 points on your license depending on the state, your insurance will go up and you could even lose your license if the offense is bad enough.

The cost of the ticket depends on how fast you were going and may not be very expensive. If you were only going 5-10 mph over the speed limit then it wont be that big of a ticket. The problem is when you’re going 20-30 mph over the speed limit and you get caught. That will give you a very big speeding ticket that you probably cant avoid in anyway, and you also don’t deserve to avoid it. Going that fast puts you and others in danger of getting into a very big traffic collision.

The trick is to try and avoid the ticket in the first place or try to Beat”>http://www.diverttickets.com/Speeding_tickets.html””>Beat A Speeding Ticket once you get it. The way to do that is to figure out how to speak to an officer when he come to your vehicle. That doesn’t mean just being nice to them or complimenting them. It means mentioning a law that might pertain to what you were pulled over for. What if you said to the officer, I know you pulled me over for speeding but I haven’t seen a speed limit sign in over 5 miles and I think I was going a reasonable speed for the current conditions”. That’s actually a law in some states and even if it’s not, it’s a reasonable request to be let go and might hold up in court. That would save you a speeding ticket, points on your license and a lot of other annoyances.

The next thing that will happen is your insurance will see what happened and consider you a higher risk on the road. So they’ll raise your insurance which costs you more money and probably wont lower it for a year or two. Then if you get a ticket in the future the insurance will see both tickets and raise it even more the second time around.

Even when you get small Speeding”>http://www.diverttickets.com/””>Speeding Tickets you’ll get 2-3 points on your license and you’re only allowed about 12 in most states during a 12 month period. Now, if you’re getting that many points then you probably deserve most of them but it’s just a warning to let you know what could happen.

Learn to say the right things without being argumentative to the officer and to the judge if it gets that far. If you just argue your point then no one will listen to you. The officer pulled you over for a reason and he felt it was necessary to do so. If you don’t know what to say then just apologize and try not to say much else.

Speeding tickets are about economics not safety. Your best defense is economic. Never pay on the spot. You should always contest a ticket in court, you will get the chance to plea bargain, for a lesser charge because it is cheaper than a hearing. For those who say speeding tickets are about safety and not about making money, please explain the proliferation of speed cameras and automatic mail in fines smoothing the money flow. Why aren't the police doing something else?

Begging is not cool. Just be sure to dress in nothing but a thong, genuflect upon entering the courtroom, and always call the magistrate 'Your Majesty'. Good luck!!

A history of bad driving will disqualify you, but if it is just a couple speeding tickets, you should be fine. They don't expect you to be perfect.
