How To Beat A Speeding Ticket - Simple Tricks To Get Out Of One

So, you’ve recently got a speeding ticket that you don’t think you deserve, and you’re most likely looking for a way to defend yourself and get out of it, right? If this is your case, you’ve came to the right place. In most cases, you probably deserved a speeding ticket for one reason or another, but there are those certain instances where the ticket you received wasn’t justifiable. In that case, I’ll show you a few good tips on how to beat a speeding ticket.

Show Up In Court

The first thing you must do in order to beat a speeding ticket is to show up in court. Sometimes, if you’re lucky, the officer that gave you the ticket will not even be present in court the day you are there. If this happens, your ticket will most likely be dismissed right away! Imagine the feeling of relief when you realize that you don’t even need to go through the stressful process of defending your case?

Defective Equipment Could Help You Win

Not all electronic devices are 100 percent accurate all the time, every time. Electronic devices do malfunction, and some even fail. The same can happen to a speed gun that officers use to measure how fast your driving. Many times, they read incorrectly. If you can prove in court that the officer was using defective equipment in reading your speed, you will win your case and not have to pay your speeding ticket.

You see, those are just a few simple tips and tricks you can use to beat a speeding ticket. Of course, there are many other ways you can get out of a speeding ticket, too.

Speeding tickets are about economics not safety. Your best defense is economic. Never pay on the spot. You should always contest a ticket in court, you will get the chance to plea bargain, for a lesser charge because it is cheaper than a hearing. For those who say speeding tickets are about safety and not about making money, please explain the proliferation of speed cameras and automatic mail in fines smoothing the money flow. Why aren't the police doing something else?

  5. Sam says:

Also depends on the state you received the speeding tickets in as every state has different laws.
